Firmware Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:                                         
Responsible for developing embedded microcontroller code, firmware, high-level code for LCD video controller chips, algorithms and test cases using C based on specifications and product architecture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop Firmware, applications/utilities.
• Bring-up code/systems in lab.
• Prepare specification, test-procedure, product release notes, and other engineering   
  documents.
• Maintain and Release code for production and support.
• Support the field application engineering organizations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years experience with firmware development.
• Experience in Graphic User Interfaces (GUI) design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of video standards/specs. (NTSC, PAL, SDI, LVDS, TMDS)
• Efficient code-management skills in C/C++, Assembly.
• Experience in developing Windows applications and user interface tools, is highly preferred.
• Bring-up experience in lab environment.
• Experience with LCD Monitor development highly desirable.
