Founded in 1996, NDS Surgical Imaging revolutionized the medical imaging industry with its development of the industry’s first Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies for visualization systems in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS). As an industry pioneer over the last 25 years, NDS has been first to market surgical LCD displays, 60 GHz wireless imaging technology, cordless secondary monitors, and OR integration solutions.

Nowadays, NDS is spearheading 4K/UHD visualization technology and provides advanced solutions whenever excellent visualization is needed. NDS systems drive constant improvements and advance the daily work in the operating room.

Working with OEM partners, NDS designs medical grade Surgical Visualization Technology, OR Integration Systems, and Wireless Imaging Solutions leveraging the latest standards in 4K technology. By offering off-the-shelf, private labeled, and custom OEM designs, we enable our customers to deliver impactful solutions that will Increase Efficiency, Improve Workflows, and Reduce the Costs of Care.

Located in Sarasota, FL NDS Surgical Imaging has a global presence in more than 35 countries.

NDS acquired Reach Technologies in 2016 and more recently MedXChange in 2019 to build synergies around its display, wireless and integration portfolio. In 2013 NDS was acquired by Novanta, headquartered in Bedford, MA.
